I find the lyrics kinda uninspired and the rhymes minimal, and as sure as oomps hates fun, I'm stubbornly hung up on the lyrics. It might be because the duo has such great chemistry as it is, so I'm of the mind that they didn't even need a traditional love ballad that spells things out. The mood and the sound are sweet and the singers do a good job, but overall I was pretty whelmed by the song. but this song has never clicked with me that much. Let me be clear, I absolutely love Tangled, the lantern scene and the relationship of Rapunzel and Flynngene Fitzrider.
I think it's time I sink my claws into the last Tangled song. So I considering making a grudge cut just to even the score a little bit, but then I realized I've bigger fish to fry hehe get it?. I mean, that soundtrack is great, but not this rofl-stompingly great. You know, I'm pretty annoyed that my jams Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Hercules and Tarzan have all taken a moderate-to-colossal clobbering while The Little Mermaid is practically unscathed.
